Go Daddy

dreamhost

Well, lately I have been pondering broadening my web enterprise, and with that I need to be able to separate my registrar from my web hosts. I figured the best way to do this is by using Godaddy.com as a registrar.

I did an experiment, and transferred one of my domains from Dreamhost to godaddy. I left the hosting where it is. I had some trouble, and ended up calling technical support and they were very helpful and made it very easy for me.

And Then There Were 31

Perhaps this week’s ending I got a bit carried away. Along with the purchase of N1 Directory, I also purchase two article based websites. This morning, I went to my registrars and did an inventory of my websites.

People often ask me how many I own, and I normally estimate. Now there are 31. Like many webmasters I’m sure, I have a few of these that are non-producers; just laying around and normally get used for a testing platform of sorts.
